The Sherwood Forest Motel
Sherwood Forest Motel is nestled in the redwood country approximately 200 miles North of San Francisco.
There are several restaurants within walking distance of the motel, as well as a movie theater and coffee shop. Two miles to the South lies the famous Benbow Lake and a Golf Course for your relaxation needs.
Sherwood Forest Motel is within easy driving distance of the wine country, Mendocino County, approximately nine hours drive from Portland, Oregon and four and one-half hours north of San Francisco. Amtrak buses stop within two blocks of our property. You can visit the ancient Redwoods at the World Famous Avenue of the Giants, just nine miles to the North, off Highway 101.

Other than service animals, one well behaved pet per room is permitted unless they are prohibited by state law or ordinance. Pets must be declared during guest registration. In consideration of all Sherwood Forest Motel guests, pets must be attended at all times, even in the rooms.
